We are an group of experienced sailors and entrepreneurs connected by a common goal: putting the crew in the most challenging regattas around the world - The Ocean Race.
Sailing Poland had previously sailed under the Spanish flag: in the last two editions of the Volvo Ocean Race regatta it was called MAPFRE. In the general classification he took second place (2017/18) and fourth (2014/15), and was led by Xabi Fernandez and Iker Martinez.
"We've had a lot of great victories on this yacht," comments Fernandez, who announced last week's MAPFRE team transition to IMOCA.
"We took second place in the last Volvo Ocean Race, and also beat the record around the Isle of Wight. We wish the Sailing Poland crew equally successful cruises. I hope that they will continue the great run of our yacht. We give it to you in good hands and I hope that we will all meet at the start of The Ocean Race in 2021. "
